New EPC Register

From September 2020 the EPC registers are now held on the trusted central government website

Energy Assessor completes an assessment of your property and lodges the information onto the new register, you will be supplied with a weblink where you can access the EPC information online and also obtain a printable version.

The information displayed shows the buildings energy performance as well as useful links to energy grants and energy efficiency regulations and relevant advice too.

Selling or renting a property?

There is a legal requirement for an EPC within 7 days of marketing the property and you could be fined for not doing so. Your EPC will show you recommendations to help improve the Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) and the Environmental Impact Rating (EIR)

Checking MEES compliance?

Are you aware of MEES? the new legislation which means all domestic & commercial properties rented out in the uk must achieve a minimum energy efficiency rating of 'E' You could be fined and lose any rental income until your property meets the MEES

Installing Renewable Energy Systems?

If you are installing renewable energy systems such as solar panels or heat pumps or biomass boilers an EPC may be required if you are claiming Feed in Tariff, Renewable Heat Incentive, Green Deal or other grants/subsidies Always ask your installer to advise what is required

Upgrading your property?

An EPC is lodged on to the national register by the Energy Assessor and is valid for ten years or until another is done to supersede it. It is good practice to renew your EPC if you make any significant changes to your property such as; new heating system, installing new windows & doors

A property professional registered, insured and fully compliant with industry accreditation bodies.

I have been qualified and trading since 2010 and have surveyed 1000's of domestic and commercial properties all over the uk.
